Columnist Patryce Y. Denson

patryceTrained and certified in Children’s Etiquette, Ms. Denson is a 2010 graduate of the prestigious American School of Protocol in Atlanta, GA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Communications from Spelman College and has expertise in public speaking, youth mentoring, event planning and management, modeling, fashion designing, and wardrobe styling. Ms. Denson also enjoys a successful career in the legal field. Her engaging training sessions, seminars, workshops and motivational keynote addresses consistently receive impressively positive responses from participants and sponsors.

Denson Etiquette Group was set in motion by Ms. Denson’s passion to equip children with the social skills necessary to face everyday situations with total confidence and poise. It is her belief that diplomas, certifications and degrees are critical, however they represent only one component of the skill set our young people need to succeed and thrive in today’s fast paced global environment. “Good manners will open doors that the best education cannot.”

Ms. Denson takes a unique approach to learning through interactive, situational instruction and specialized course structure customized for each student. Classes are offered in a small group format to create an optimal environment for an impactful learning experience between the instructor, students and their peers. Each 10-week etiquette series culminates in a mandatory 5-course instructional dinner at a local fine dining restaurant, thus, providing the students an opportunity to practice and apply skills learned during the course. Successful program participants are awarded a Certificate of Completion from the Denson Etiquette Group at the parent/student program finale. Full-and half-day etiquette workshops are also offered.

Committed to positively impacting and serving her community, Ms. Denson is passionately involved in diverse mentoring and educational programs that empower and prepare our youth to excel. Driven by one of her edicts, “through exposure and knowledge comes confidence and power,” Ms. Denson now enthusiastically shares her unique style and grace, business expertise, extensive world travel experiences, and lifelong passion for etiquette with children, teens and young adults to help develop the empowered generations of our future.
